East Runton is an attractive and well-served village with many amenities. The village has two extensive commons. Bay Tree Cottage is near the Top Common which is famous for its family of geese that live there all the year round. There are two pubs, a butcher, village stores (open long hours), a fish and chip shop, a Greek restaurant (Constantias) and many other facilites. It is just a few miles from the thriving seaside towns of Cromer and Sheringham.
Bay Tree Cottage is near the Norfolk Coastal Path which leads over Incleborough Hill (one of the few hills in Norfolk!)

East Runton Beach. This is less than 5 minutes' drive from the cottage (or about 15 minutes' walk).
